ELIGIBILITY: The Festival Association seeks the participation of artists and crafts persons offering their own artwork.
DATES: August 11 & 12, 2007
(Exhibit hours: Saturday 10:00-6:00, Sunday 10:00-5:00,
Check-in Friday, 6:00-8:00 pm, Saturday 6:00-9:00 am,
Check-out Sunday 5:05 pm).
Art Gallery Opening and Wine Reception will be from 7pm--10 pm
No one under 21 and no pets admitted to party.
APPLICATION DEADLINE: April 1, 2007.
BOOTH RATES: Single booths (10x10), $100.
A limited number of double booths (10x20) will be available this year at $225. $10 additional Security Fee for Friday check-in.

Woodstock Arts and Crafts Festival
|

What started out as a small homeowner’s association arts and crafts/flea market at the corner of University Drive and Oakland Park Boulevard has evolved into one of the premier festivals in South Florida, the Woodstock Arts and Crafts Festival.
Twenty-five years after its inception, the festival is still planned and run almost completely by volunteers. Even though many of our original members have moved out of the area, they still return each year to serve on the various committees necessary to run a successful show.
The first festival profits were donated to the Sunrise Parks and Recreation Department to be used for playground equipment at the Nob Hill and Hiatus Road parks.
In 1982 a second charity was selected to benefit from festival profits; Justice for Surviving Victims (J.S.V.), formed by families of homicide victims . These families fought for the necessary legislative changes to create a victims Bill of Rights in the State of Florida and then continued to lobby national leaders for a national Bill of Rights. Due to their efforts, 27 states now have such bills. Woodstock funded the greatest portion of their financial needs.

Every year the Syracuse New Times sponsors a sidewalk art contest. Using colored chalk, contestants create pictures on the sidewalk to compete for prizes. Watch out for that space alien climbing out of the manhole , and be careful not to step on the Mona Lisa!

The Official Texas State Arts & Crafts Fair

There's no place like... deep in the "Art of Texas". Come celebrate the 36th anniversary of the Official Texas State Arts and Crafts Fair in beautiful Kerrville, Texas. Big tents laced among the trees create the atmosphere of a good old-fashioned fair. Buy a treasure from one of over 180 artisans on site eager to visit with you about their work or discover the next Picasso by visiting the Texas Universities' "Emerging Texas Artists" scholarship contestants.
Relax in the shade, under a big tent, under our covered pavilion or by our new amphitheater nestled in the valley of the park while you enjoy a variety of Texas entertainers and great food. Be sure to bring the kids for hands on crafts demonstrations and an activity area.

Rio Grande Arts and Crafts Festival

The Rio Grande Arts and Crafts Festivals have become an Albuquerque and New Mexico tradition since their inception in 1989. Held three times a year in March, October and December, each fair attracts tens of thousands of buyers from almost every state, as well as New Mexico residents and collectors from around the world.
These highly-ranked, juried shows feature the work of hundreds of the nation’s most outstanding artists and craftspeople. Visitors can shop and purchase directly from the artists, and also enjoy the food court, complete with wine sampling. There are also artists’ demonstrations, children’s activities and a variety of entertainment, making it a fun event for the entire family.
